$3.99 Papa Murphy's Deal Today and Tomorrow Only!

Update:  I went to purchase pizzas last night and was pleasantly surprized that our store allowed substitutions for only $1!  So I got a white sauce large with chicken for only $4.99!  Ask at your store if you want something besides pepperoni!

It's Customer Appreciation Days at Papa Murphy's!  Today and tomorrow you can pick up a large pepperoni pizza for $3.99!  There's no coupon required and a limit of three pizzas, but what an inexpensive dinner!  I've also heard that these freeze really well too!  Just ask them to "double wrap" your pizza for freezing.  I personally think that Papa Murphy's has some of the best pizza around, so I'll be stocking up!

Get Your Car Cleaned for FREE!

Is your car dirty?  Mine has been filthy for a few months, it seems!  We always have it on the list of things to do each weekend, but there's never enough time.  Well, if you are out and about anywhere near 10400 S. and Bangerter before August 1st, you'll be in luck!  There's a brand new car wash called Star Wash there that is holding an awesome grand opening special!  Right now, you can take your vehicle (or vehicles) as many times as you want before August 1st for a FREE WASH!  We went today, and it was great!  The facility is totally state-of-the-art!  The car wash is a drive-thru, but you put the car in neutral and are pulled through on a track.  It takes three minutes.  The wash and tire shine normally cost nearly $12.00, but you get it for free right now!  My minivan came out cleaner than it ever does at drive-thru places!  And one more thing--all their self-serve vacuums are also free for the grand opening!  So what are you waiting for?  Go get that car clean and spread the word!

Great Toy Clearance at Kmart.com!

Just wanted to alert you to a pretty great toy clearance at Kmart.com.  I just found it today, so some of the great toys have sold out, but there are still many to choose from.  One of my favorites is the "Precious Places Swan Castle" pictured above.  We have had this for almost a year and both of my young daughters (5 & 2) play with it all the time.  It is very sturdy and comes with lots of things to entertain them.  Regular price $47.99, on clearance for only $18!  Check out all the deals under the "clearance" section in Toys!  Be sure and add the items you want to your cart for final pricing.  Some of the higher-priced items are coming up an additional 50% off in the cart!

What's a Beer Rebate?

Have you heard people talking about beer rebates and wondered what they are?  I know the first time I heard about them, I totally tuned out.  I don't drink, so I immediately thought that beer rebates had nothing to do with me.  Wrong!!!  (Right, Renee?)  Beer rebates are an amazing way to save a ton of money on many items, including some that never have coupons available for them, like produce, meat and deli items.  Do I have your attention yet?  How about if I mention that I've earned over $150 in one month using beer rebates?  Sound like something that might apply to you?  It sure applies to me!

Beer rebates are rebates offered by beer companies to encourage customers to purchase other items at the stores that retail their products.  The great thing about Utah (and these states AL, AR, CT, HI, IN, KY, ME, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OK, WV), is that by law a beer purchase cannot be required to use applicable beer rebates!  That means that if you must buy beer plus $20 in meat to get $10 back (for example), in "no beer purchase required" states like those listed above, you only have to buy the meat to get the rebate!  This provides an amazing way to save a ton of money!  Keep in mind that new rebates come out all the time, so there are usually quite a few out each month to take advantage of.

How do you get beer rebates?  Well, that's the tricky part.  As more people learn about them, they become harder to find.  They used to be posted in pretty obvious places (like on beer displays) at grocery stores.  However, there are many beer rebate bandits who take whole pads of rebates from the store, leaving little or nothing for the rest of us.  So sometimes the store isn't the best place to look.  However, it's always worth checking with customer service, the meat counter and the deli counter to ask about rebates.  Some people will have no clue what you're talking about, but sometimes you'll hit the jackpot.  Watch for displays as you walk around the store too.  A few other ways to get rebates include trading with people who have rebates and buying them on eBay.  Finally, tell all your friends about "So Simple to Save" to win beer rebates!  I have a few extras for July and can't wait to share them with you!

So start trying out beer rebates!  You'll be glad you did!
