Have you heard of "The Money Bag"?  It's a free coupon pack from Media One (the company that runs all the major newspapers in the area) that comes to you on Sundays!  It usually includes one or two of the coupon inserts in Sunday papers plus some sales ads (like Rite Aid).  I've received it for quite awhile now, and there really have been no strings attached!  I'm guessing advertisers use it as a way to reach their potential consumers.  Just go here to enter your zip and see if it's available in your area.  Your "subscription" lasts for one year, then you can renew if you want.  I just got an email reminding me to renew, so I wanted to share this great option with you!

A Few Options for Disney's "A Christmas Carol"

'Tis the season for holiday movie purchases!  I haven't seen this yet, but I want to, so I'm watching for good movie deals.  While I haven't seen anything super-fabulous yet, I'm sure we'll catch a sale or two in the coming weeks.  For now, there are two coupons you'll want to keep handy:

1.  Print the Disney Movie Rewards for $10 off the 4-disc combo pack here.  This will apply to the 4-disc version only, so obviously the most expensive, but $10 off is a lot!  Right now these are prices around $27.99.

2.  Grab the ad from Peterson's grocery store this week (this might also be available in other Associated Foods ads).  Clip the coupon for $5 off any fresh meat when you buy "A Christmas Carol".  This is a manufacturer's coupon, so it is good at any store that accepts manufacturer's coupons!!!  Use it with the above coupon for a great deal!

If I see any super bargains on this, I'll let you know ASAP, but for now, $18 for the four discs (includes a digital copy for your iPod or other digital media!!!) and $5 in free meat isn't too bad!

Deseret First Mortgage and Refinance Deal!

Got a great email today from BYU!  I'm checking into all the details, but it might be something that could help some readers out.  It states that Deseret First Credit Union (check into membership requirements) is currently offering a no-cost first mortgage and refinance loan to qualified applicants.  The email specifically states that all closing costs are paid by Deseret First and NOT rolled into your loan!  I'm waiting for a call back with all the details, so I'll let you know what I find out.  With interest rates under 4% at many financial institutions, this could mean significant savings on a first mortgage or refinance!  Might be something to check into if you are in the market!
